Athletics Biography
Sandy is an ultra endurance athlete specializing in extreme adventure
races. She has a passion for the desert, and enjoys competing in
temperatures reaching 120°F (50°C). But Sandy has also
raced in temperatures of -40°F (-40°C). Her ultimate goal
is to be the first person to cross the entire Sahara Desert by camel,
from Mauritania to the Nile, and back again. It will be a two-year
odyssey that will test her physical, mental, and spiritual strength.
