MARATHON DES SABLES PAST ACHIEVEMENTS

This is about a remarkable 8 year quest in pursuit of a dream...to finish in the top ten amoung women in the Marathon des Sables. The worlds most grueling ultramarathon stage race has taken its toll, but it has not dimmed Sandy's courage or determination to accomplish her goal. This is a story of passion. It combines a love for the Sahara desert with an unquenchable desire to test the limits of her physical, mental and spiritual strength.
